'Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions' the artist Pablo Picasso once remarked.
"Hidden" is a photography project that allows me to express my dreams, emotions, and secrets without saying them aloud. In the series of self-portraits, I struggle with depression.
Some people live with depression on the inside, even though they appear cheerful and content on the outside. This is known as a smiling depression or hidden depression. The smile and external façade is a defense mechanism, an attempt to hide true feelings.
Shaping the form with chiaroscuro corresponds with the tradition of painting.
